Clerk/Treasurer Dan Jones presented Franklin’s annual financial report during the Feb. 18 council meeting, saying the statement is submitted annually to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) and that he would file the report the following day.
Dan Jones told councilmembers the statement sheet will be posted in the Daily Journal as required and that the full packet is available for review; he described the presentation as informational and said the item did not require council action.
Councilmembers were invited to ask questions; none were raised during the meeting. The report will be filed with the DLGF and posted as indicated.
