Grand County reopens public hearing to add airport fees to consolidated fee schedule

The Grand County Commission resumed a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Feb. 17 to consider amendments to the county's consolidated fee schedule that, officials said, would add airport fees not included in the previously approved schedule.
An unidentified meeting facilitator opened the hearing and an unidentified speaker said the amendments "would also include the fees for the airport as well that were not in the previously approved fee schedule, before the new budget year." The speaker said those airport fees and certain information fees were the only changes in this batch of amendments.
The facilitator said the public hearing will remain open through Wednesday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. for additional comment and provided a contact for submissions as spoken in the meeting: "commission at grama account utah dot gov." No formal motion or vote on the fee schedule occurred during the Feb. 17 session; staff indicated the item will return to a future commission meeting for action.
Commissioners did not take public testimony on the fee schedule at that moment; the meeting moved on to an open 'Citizens to be heard' segment. The hearing remains open to written comments through the date announced by the facilitator.
