The Riviera Beach City Council approved Ordinance No. 4303 on second and final reading on Feb. 18, clearing the way for a zoning change at 2428 Broadway to support additional parking and expanded operations for Busch Canvas & Interiors.
Development Services staff explained the earlier action on the item had been rescinded to correct a header error and that the item had been renoticed for final action. One public commenter spoke during the hearing, and the council approved the item unanimously.
The ordinance updates the zoning designation for the property and provides for an effective date and other standard code provisions; staff will record the ordinance adoption and ensure zoning maps are updated.
The adoption was recorded in the meeting minutes and will be implemented by Development Services.
