Morristown council adopts consent agenda, introduces pay ordinance O-03-2026 and adopts two resolutions

The Town of Morristown council handled routine business at its Feb. 17 meeting, approving a five-item consent agenda, introducing a pay ordinance for management staff and adopting two resolutions.
The clerk announced five items on the consent agenda and, after no members requested separate consideration, a motion to adopt items 1–5 was made and seconded; roll call recorded "Yes" from Councilwoman Foster, Councilman Anacone, Councilwoman Lindsey, Councilman Umbriac, Councilman Russo and Council President Polipchuk, and the motion carried.
The council then introduced Ordinance O-03-2026, "an ordinance of the town of Morristown ... amending compensation for certain management/nonunion positions." The motion to introduce passed by roll call; the ordinance was adopted properly by title and will be considered further after a public hearing on March 10.
Finally, the council moved to adopt Resolutions 59 and 60; after a second and roll-call affirmations from present members, both resolutions were adopted.
With no unfinished or new business, a motion to adjourn carried and the meeting was closed.
