SHAC hears Galena Park ISD updates on childcare, school groundbreakings; minutes approved

The chair asked attendees to consult a provided list of needed items and to bring donations to the April meeting.
A Galena Park ISD representative (name not provided in the transcript) outlined district childcare operations: three childcare centers including a federally funded Early Head Start program (director Anna Laura present), a center that originally served teen parents, and a newer North Side center where two portable classrooms were recently added.
