Unidentified Speaker 1 called the Whiteland Redevelopment Authority meeting to order on Feb. 17, 2026, and opened nominations for officers, proposing the slate from the prior year.
The membership approved the slate naming Alan Whitaker as president, Lisa Brown as vice president and Kim Dunn as secretary by voice vote after a motion and second. "We'll just keep it all the same," one member said while moving the slate; members responded "Aye." The meeting also approved the minutes from the Sept. 11 meeting by voice vote.
On new business, the authority addressed a statutorily required annual report under IC 36-7-14.5-9. Unidentified Speaker 1 said the report must describe the RDA's activities for the preceding calendar year and recommended a motion "to delegate authority to the president of the RDA, the town manager, and the town attorney to prepare and file the annual report by April 15." The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The authority did not record a roll-call tally by name for the votes in the transcript; approvals were taken by voice.
The meeting closed with a brief administrative update on bond payment timing and a motion to adjourn, which was seconded and approved.
