OEC site walkthrough: where Early Start Connecticut programs find policies, trainings and supports

The presenter identified specific pages relevant to state-funded early care and education providers, including ECEReporter and Early Start CT ("where you'll find key information about this funding and requirements"), general OEC policies, and a "qualified staff member" page with staffing requirements for state-funded programs.
She said the Early Start resources section contains the Early Start chronicles (emailed to programs), the full series of Early Start Foundations videos, and archived training videos and FAQs. To support program improvement, the presenter noted Elevate (described in the video as "OEC's quality improvement system") and said the Elevate page explains how to connect with a navigator who can link a program to appropriate resources. The presenter also pointed to accreditation supports through AQIS and to the standards, curriculum and assessment pages that include links to resources and an order form for the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards and the Connecticut Documentation and Observation for Teaching System (CTDOTs).
The video ends with the presenter showing the main OEC website URL and advising programs that for further support they may contact their LGP liaison or their program manager depending on the nature of the question.
