Council convenes in closed session to review city administrator’s performance, reconvenes with no action

On Feb. 16 the Oak Creek Common Council moved into a closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Section 19.85(1)(c) to review and evaluate the job performance and salary of the city administrator.
President Gell made the motion to convene in closed session and the council voted by roll call to enter closed session. Later in the meeting Council moved to reconvene into open session; the mayor noted there was no action required that night following the closed session.
The motion to enter closed session and the reconvening were recorded on the public agenda as required by state open‑meeting law.
