The Oak Creek Common Council on Feb. 16 approved a conditional use permit for Elite Tumbling Factory at 440 West Bell Court, Suite 400, allowing an indoor recreational facility to occupy about 11,000 square feet of a 23,000‑square‑foot building.
Community Development Director Christie Lane told the council the code requires 28 parking spaces for the proposed use; the applicant requested a waiver to allow the 24 spaces currently provided. During the public hearing, a council member and residents asked whether parking would be sufficient for events. Applicant Tony P. said the landlord had agreed to add 10 extra spaces and described likely events as modest — birthday parties and parent nights — and said the business is recreational, not competitive.
Council members pressed staff on the availability of on‑street parking and overlap with other tenants. Christie Lane said the planning commission had recommended approval and staff did not anticipate parking to be an issue given the applicant’s operations and the landlord’s planned additional spaces. After discussion, the council voted by roll call to approve the conditional use permit; the vote was recorded as unanimous 'Aye.'
