Student board representatives propose environmental education, financial‑literacy and inclusion initiatives

Trustees praised the presentations and encouraged the students to prioritize transportation-related pilots because trustees see high school road congestion as a board priority. One trustee suggested integrating student proposals into finance and transportation committee work and offered to provide historical curriculum materials for financial literacy.
Board members asked about student senate integration and confirmed the student presenters will be part of upcoming student senate planning.
