Finance staff presented the June and July check registers and summarized key purchases and payroll-related expenditures.
The register included payments for transmitters supporting VHF telemetry used in science surveys, several purchases from Dell for replacement laptops and desktops, a prepayment to NJOIT for replacement servers, and work by a tree service for trimming and removal. The presenter noted a payment to a vendor for VHF tracking receivers used in National Park Service surveys and replenishment of science supplies.
On payroll-related expenses the presenter highlighted the annual pension payment: "This year's pension payment came out to $590,063, which went down a little bit from the year before," the finance presenter said. Staff also summarized application-fee revenue that met targets for FY25 and initial FY26 collections.
Committee members had no questions and the financial report concluded without further action.
