In this case the property owner owned two lots and the dwelling was proposed for the northern lot; staff confirmed the project met the requirement for on-site septic by meeting the five-foot seasonal high-water table depth standard.
A commissioner moved to approve the resolution and the motion passed on a voice vote. Staff reiterated that the commission grants a limited number of waivers annually and that each application must meet statutory and regulatory tests before approval.
