BPU approves one-year no-cost extension with Daymark Energy Advisors for CSI administration

The Board of Public Utilities on Oct. 8 approved a one-year, no-cost contract extension for Daymark Energy Advisors Inc. to continue administering work related to the Competitive Solar Incentive (CSI) program.
Dr. Watson told the board the extension is the second of three allowable contract extensions; no additional budget or scope changes were requested. "Staff recommends that the board approve a 1 year no cost contract extension with Daymark Energy Advisors," the presenter stated.
Board members moved and seconded the recommendation. On roll call the transcript records affirmative votes from Commissioner Crystal De (Yes), Commissioner Banes (Yes) and the board president (recorded in the transcript as 'Gulso Dobie') (Yes). The motion carried.
The presenter said the board granted the first extension in October 2024; staff characterized this request as within the contract's allowable extension terms and without additional funding needs. The board did not discuss modifications to the contract scope in open session.
