The New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission on Feb. 12 approved a slate of licensing actions including 17 ownership-transfer recommendations, multiple conditional-to-annual conversions, and dozens of annual license renewals and extensions.
Executive Director Chris Riggs told the commission that the tranche of 17 ownership-transfer applications satisfied regulatory vetting by the Office of Compliance and Investigation and recommended approval. After a motion to accept the staff recommendation, the board approved the group vote. The board also handled several individual ownership-change applications (La Vita Gardens; LeafRelief NJ), with recusals recorded when commissioners reported personal or professional relationships.
