Wilson told planning staff the products are designed to influence mood and will be sold through online platforms; she said sales fulfillment will rely on standard carrier pickups and shipping rather than in-person customer visits. "There will be no increased traffic," she said, noting that UPS, Amazon and FedEx already serve the community.
Neighbors asked whether those daily carrier routes would become more frequent and whether package pickups could increase traffic. Arthur Holt asked, "Will it increase traffic flow in the neighborhood?" and Barbara Stenberg asked how often pickups would occur and whether they might happen every hour. Wilson replied that carriers typically pass through once daily and that she could personally drop packages at the post office if pickups proved disruptive. Planner Felicia questioned the applicant about platform distribution and pickup scheduling because a broad online presence can generate frequent orders and pickups.
Wilson also said she has a contract with a third party (Therabox) that may require her to relocate to a nonresidential location at a future date, indicating the home-based use could be temporary if business needs change. Wilson confirmed she would remain in compliance with City of Stonecrest ordinance Chapter 27, Sec. 4.2.0.31. Planning staff said a written decision would be issued within 24–48 hours.
No formal vote was taken at the hearing; the administrative record will reflect staff review and the forthcoming decision.
