Brianna Schrader, a planner with the county's zoning section, told commissioners the application (DCI 20 25-00006) proposed rezoning the parcel to match its future land-use designation and that the hearing examiner recommended approval. Schrader said there were no participants on record for the item.
Commissioner Hammond moved to adopt the hearing examiner's recommendation; Commissioner Petroski seconded. The board recorded no objections and the motion carried.
The approval was routine on its face: staff and the hearing examiner found the application met applicable land-use and compatibility standards. The county did not add additional conditions at the dais. No development order or architectural plans were presented at the hearing; those details will be reviewed during subsequent development-stage review if the applicant pursues construction.
