The Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board on Jan. 7 unveiled an interactive Active Rules Tracker intended to make the agency’s rulemaking process easier to follow and to encourage public participation.
Research program lead Dr. Sarah Oke introduced the tracker, saying it "transforms the way people can understand what rules projects are currently ongoing and recently completed, as well as how they can participate in the rulemaking process." The tool is published on the agency’s website and linked from the rules and research pages.
