Serena Thao and other members expressed support for youth activism; Adeline Chavez urged Milwaukee Public Schools to avoid condemning student voices and to provide support for student-organized actions. Kalise Williams urged educating people affected by ICE about their rights so they can respond if stopped.
Following discussion, a member moved for adoption; the clerk called the roll and the motion carried with 10 ayes and 1 excused. The resolution was adopted.
