HACM public safety reports increased proactive patrols and plans Narcan trainings for residents

Davis said the department intends to pursue comparative mapping with the Milwaukee Police Department to measure whether HACM’s deployments reduce calls for service at developments and to reconstitute district‑level safety meetings with law enforcement partners. He said the department has identified a senior supervisor to support resident engagement and meet regularly with resident organizations.
Responding to commissioner questions, Davis described an existing Narcan distribution and training initiative run with resident services and an outside partner. He said the public safety department will support training, distribute Narcan kits to residents who request them and coordinate follow‑up with resident services staff.
