Murfreesboro planning commission approves multiple site plans, sets hearings for larger projects

The Murfreesboro Planning Commission on Feb. 18 approved a string of site plans and design reviews, clearing several commercial and residential developments to proceed to permitting while attaching standard staff conditions.
Staff introduced the Perkins Motorplex site plan — a proposed 3,230-square-foot motor vehicle sales dealership on 1.82 acres along Bezey Road across from Costco — and recommended approval "subject to staff comments," noting required on-site loading zones. After questions about the Bezey–Warrior intersection and a planned roundabout, commissioners approved the plan.
In rapid succession the commission also approved an 817-square-foot 7 Brew Coffee kiosk on Memorial Boulevard and a 2,383-square-foot Chipotle with drive-through on Veterans Parkway; staff told…
