Sheridan High athletes, coaches and activities director honored for state championships and sportsmanship

The board named Casey Garnhardt as the Wyoming High School Activities Association Activities Director of the Year. Garnhardt accepted the recognition and said he was "very, very humbled" by the honor and credited coaches, staff and student athletes for the results.
The board also announced Wyoming High School Activities Association Good Sportsmanship Awards for the Bronk football program (for a game against Cheyenne East on Sept. 29), an individual sportsmanship recognition for Nathan Bloom (for conduct during a game on Oct. 17), and a Good Sportsmanship Award for the Lady Bronk volleyball program for its conduct during the state tournament on Nov. 7.
Trustees and community members congratulated teams, coaches and student recipients, and urged the school to send notices to state officials inviting them to upcoming recognition events in Cheyenne.
