County continues liquor and special‑use hearings, approves consent agenda

At its Feb. 17 meeting the Clear Creek County Board of County Commissioners advanced several routine procedural items.
The board opened a local liquor‑license hearing for a proposed bed‑and‑breakfast liquor permit for Serena Yoder doing business as Silver Lake Lodge but immediately continued the hearing to March 3, 2026 because of a notice issue. A motion to continue was made and passed by voice vote.
Similarly, staff asked to continue consideration of Resolution 26‑16 and the related special‑use permit case FCP2025‑03 (Horace Parking Lot) so final conditions—particularly a financial guarantee—can be resolved. The board moved and passed a continuance to March 3.
On the consent agenda the board approved warrants, a professional‑services agreement for real estate, multiple resolutions (including appointments to the Clear Creek Tourism Bureau and an updated compensation plan), amendments to public‑works agreements, and a letter of support for Idaho Springs and Clear Creek Metropolitan Recreation District’s application to the Great Outdoors Colorado Community Impact Grant Program for Shelly Quinn Park.
