Tim Mishue of Teradyne Consultants presented a sketch plan for a 4‑lot residential subdivision on Remick Drive (Map 90 Lot 24‑2) during the Planning Board’s Feb. 17 meeting. The roughly 15.9‑acre parcel would be served primarily by private wells and individual subsurface wastewater disposal, with three proposed lots accessing a proposed Samana (Simona) Lane extension and a 1,060‑foot road terminating in a hammerhead within a 50‑foot right‑of‑way.
Mishue said the project contains roughly 4 acres of forested wetlands, delineated in 2023, and the applicant proposes to extend a gravity sewer alignment so private force mains currently under a public street are relocated out of the eventual public right‑of‑way and offered to the city. The applicant said earlier plans to merge Camari Drive would remove an overhead utility pole line and refeed distribution from Remick Drive.
Board members asked for evidence of abutter support for changes to Kamari Drive and suggested letters from affected homeowners; staff indicated a legal review of termination agreements and right‑of‑way language will be required before final acceptance. The board and applicant discussed required reserve septic areas and hydrogeologic testing; the applicant agreed to provide exhibits and a preliminary plan for future review.
