Board approves grouped policy, faculty, finance, consent and personnel resolution blocks

Trustee Schmidt moved to advance the policy and regulations block on the agenda, which the board approved by roll call. Trustee Rodriguez moved the faculty and programs block (items 901–908, including revised items 904 and 908); that block was likewise approved. Trustee McNerney moved finance and insurance items 1101–1117; the board passed that block with one recorded abstention on item 11:03. Trustee Schmidt moved the consent agenda (1201) and Trustee Rodriguez moved the personnel block (1301–1310, including revised items 1303 and 1304); both passed on roll-call votes.
The votes followed standard procedure: each block was moved, seconded and decided by recorded roll-call votes. No substantive debate occurred on the floor during the motions; the board’s committee reports earlier in the meeting provided the substantive discussion on many items.
The meeting closed after a routine citizens’ comment period (no speakers) and a motion to adjourn. The board did not identify deadlines or follow-up tasks on the floor for the approved blocks during the session.
