Rackham said the JustServe City designation is typically granted after a city signs a proclamation and completes coordination steps, and that the process was expedited to align with CUNA Kindness Week and America250 service goals.
Council members thanked volunteers and asked about Idaho’s recognition at the state level; Rackham and others confirmed Idaho’s strong participation and the governor’s recognition tied to the statewide volunteer effort. The proclamation was presented as a ceremonial recognition and no formal council action was required.
