Board ratifies support‑staff contract, appoints secretary pro tem and approves two administrator contracts
Summary
After closed session the board appointed Miss Berghold as secretary pro tem, ratified the collective bargaining agreement with Lincoln Way Educational Support Professionals (LWESP) for the presented term and unanimously approved contracts for the director of technology and the principal of Lincoln Way West.
Returning from closed session, the board appointed Miss Berghold to serve as secretary pro tem for the meeting because a regular member was absent.
The board then moved to ratify a collective bargaining agreement between Lincoln Way CHSD 210 and Lincoln Way High School Educational Support Professionals (LWESP) for the contract period presented; the motion passed unanimously. The presiding officer thanked members on both sides and said, “Glad we finally got a deal done.”
The board also voted unanimously to approve the contract for the district director of technology and the contract for the principal of Lincoln Way West as presented. All personnel and contract votes recorded in open session were unanimous, and no further conditions were noted in the meeting minutes.
