Speaker 1, identified in the meeting as planning staff, explained that the county collects municipal planning information and submits a consolidated annual packet to the state. ‘‘We provide them the information… they send one giant packet to the state on everybody’s behalf,’’ Speaker 1 said.
Speaker 2 moved to approve the 2025 annual report and authorize the chair to sign; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. Staff told commissioners the report is a standard, annual submission and invited questions; none were raised that required changes beyond a routine date correction noted later in the meeting.
The commission’s approval will allow staff to include Westminster’s submission in the county’s consolidated report to the state and meet the county’s processing timeline.
