Clerk reading of the resolution referenced the original RPP ordinances and recent procedural amendments and said the purpose is to provide relief from street overcrowding and improve traffic flow. Council moved the resolution to the floor and approved it by voice/roll call; the measure takes effect immediately upon adoption.
The change means those blocks will be included in the designated RPP areas and eligible residents can apply for parking permits under the existing RPP guidelines established by ordinance.
City staff said the resolution clarifies which blocks are within the RPP zone and will implement permit processing under the ordinance adopted in November 2022.
