Gage County Board of Equalization approves meeting agenda and prior minutes; one abstention on agenda

The Gage County Board of Equalization convened Oct. 30, 2024, and approved the meeting agenda and the minutes of its prior meeting.
The chair called the meeting to order at 8:34 a.m. and presented the agenda. A motion to approve the agenda was moved by Dorn and seconded by Swavely. After a roll-call tally was read, the result was corrected to show five votes in favor and one abstention by Schuler; the chair said the motion carried.
The board then took up approval of the minutes of the previous meeting. A motion to approve the minutes was moved by Swavely and seconded by Dorn; the board recorded six votes in favor and the motion carried.
No further formal business was taken on either item. The board proceeded to public comments and other agenda items before adjourning.
