Fort Myers Beach special magistrate issues compliance orders, assesses $250 fees for three properties

Officer Tim Hoffman reported a reinspection of 101 Baymar Drive on 02/09/2026 showed owners May Aaron Christopher and Philip Johnson had abated all violations and the property was in compliance; the town requested a $250 administrative fee to close the case and the magistrate entered an order finding the violations abated and imposed the $250 cost.
Hoffman also reported that reinspection on 02/10/2026 of 5660 Williams Drive showed the owners had removed the roof portion of a boat dock in disrepair and removed unsecured cables from the boat lift; the town requested a $250 administrative fee and stated it would not seek daily fines because the owners cooperated. The magistrate admitted the compliance affidavits and issued orders of compliance with the $250 administrative cost for each applicable case.
All three matters were closed as compliance orders once the administrative fees are recorded as required by the orders.
