"It's $32,000,000 to replace their aging fleet and transition to a 100% compressed natural gas or CNG fleet," Watkins said. The TIP amendment adds $32,000,000 in federal funds and $8,000,000 in matching dollars, a $40,000,000 total, to the FY2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program so HART can access the grant.
