Senate handles introductory business, returns and overrides veto on Georgetown county bill

Using the previously recorded 45–0 tally, the Senate overrode the veto by unanimous consent; the chair announced the veto override and the act will become law despite the governor’s objection.
Other procedural items included motions to carry bills over, scheduling announcements — including a notice that the Charter School Accountability Bill would be discussed the next day — and adjournment to reconvene the following morning.
