"I'm Maggie. I'm the senior board rep," one student said as she and junior rep Catherine outlined activities including a homecoming spirit week themed around a Hawaiian/"Love Island" concept and a homecoming dance for which they sold about 600 tickets. The student leaders said the council earned the Keystone Council Award for the 2024–25 school year and attended the Pennsylvania Association of Student Councils conference, where leadership and community-focused ideas were emphasized.
Club and service activity included food-pantry volunteering, visits to retirement homes, and high-school students mentoring at Robinson Elementary through a program described as "High School Heroes." National Honor Society members reported they are on track to surpass about 1,700 service hours this school year. Student groups described fundraisers — from theater popcorn sales to TSA ornament sales — to help cover travel or event costs.
Board members thanked the student representatives and asked how the student groups planned to share fundraiser ordering information; students said details would appear on Instagram and be shared through the board letter.
