Doctor Bliss reviewed the personnel report. The board approved the appointment of Isaac Beers as dean of students at Providence Elementary while he works toward his principalship certificate. Trustees acknowledged retirements including Christy Whitmer, a long‑tenured high‑school English teacher who has served since 2001, and Sue Dawson, a sixth‑grade ELA teacher at Swift since 1992.
The board also approved new stipend positions: a quiz bowl advisor stipend after the team qualified for nationals, and a stipend position to cover broadcast/sound engineering duties previously handled by Levi Palmer (who has accepted another position but is available part time for broadcasts). The personnel report was approved by motion and voice vote.
