Officials say canal company signs MOU on Colson Reservoir; moving staging area will be costly

The relocation will require adding power, fencing and lighting at the new sites and was described as "quite costly." Officials emphasized the need to identify funding sources before committing to the move.
No formal funding decision was made at the workshop. Officials said they will continue working with partners and present more detailed cost estimates at a future meeting.
