Tiburon council reappoints chair and vice chair to Diversity & Inclusion task force

A staff report said the appointment is an annual action, the chair must be a council member and the vice chair need not be. Mayor Wellner moved the nomination: "I will move that we nominate for another year, council member Thier as chair of the diversity inclusion task force and Tina Paccadei as vice chair." The motion was seconded and approved by roll call with Council member Fredericks, Council member Thier, Vice Mayor Nick Farr and Mayor Wellner voting yes; Council member Ryan was absent.
The appointments cover one-year terms under the governing resolution attached to the staff report. Council did not discuss amendments to the task force's scope at the meeting; staff noted the legal provisions and the town's standard annual timeline for these appointments.
The town clerk will record the appointments and update the task force roster. The council moved on to other agenda items without additional public comment on the nomination.
