The Independence Planning Commission opened its Nov. 18 meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance, approved the consent agenda on a 6‑0 roll call and proceeded to hear two short‑term rental applications.
During closing remarks staff said they expect to vacate the building in December but intend to continue holding meetings at the current location into the first part of next year, and that members will receive updates on specific dates. The chair then wished commissioners and attendees holiday greetings and adjourned the meeting at 6:30 p.m.
Roll call recorded Commissioners Nesbitt, Ferguson, Ashbaugh, O'Neil, Young and Chairman Wiley as present for votes that evening.
