Trustees asked about expected lifespan and whether safety metrics supported replacement. A vendor representative said typical turf lifespans are 10–12 years. Trustee Cook moved to approve the Shaw Sports Turf award for $664,340; the motion was seconded and passed 7–0. Administration said they would place the order immediately to meet summer installation timelines so fall teams can use the field.
