Towamencin Township’s Board of Supervisors met Jan. 6 for its 2025 reorganization and work session and moved quickly through officer elections, a slate of appointments and a series of routine resolutions.
The board appointed Chuck Wilson as chair for 2025 after a nomination, second and vote. Laura Smith was elected vice chair, Joyce Snyder secretary, Kristen Warner treasurer and Kofi Osei assistant secretary/assistant treasurer.
The board then approved a slate of township staff and consultant appointments, naming David G. Krennick township manager; CKS Engineers and Gilmore Associates for engineering and sewer roles; Bowman Consulting Group for traffic engineering; Malley LLP as the township’s independent auditor; and other municipal positions and contractors. The board voted to approve the slate with the solicitor taken separately and subsequently approved by vote.
The supervisors adopted standard organizational resolutions: designating United National Bank & Trust and the Pennsylvania Local Government Investment Trust (PLGIT) as official depositories for 2025; approving the 2025 meeting schedule (7 p.m. at the municipal complex); setting the 2025 paid holiday list; and appointing Malley LLP as auditors for the 2024 fiscal-year audit. The board also named Charles (Chuck) Wilson as the primary voting delegate and Kristen Warner as alternate to the Montgomery County Tax Collection Committee, per Act 32.
All votes on the reorganization measures and resolutions were approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.
The meeting record shows the board handled reorganization housekeeping items first and transitioned immediately into the work‑session business items for the evening.
