"We would like to apply for a community development block grant for the amount, $77,750 to install a generator in that property."
Aslanan identified Mansell and Electric as the lowest bidder ARC Morris plans to use if the grant is awarded. Township officials agreed to provide supporting documents and a resolution to accompany the application.
Why it matters: ARC Morris said the generator would allow the facility to maintain essential services and avoid emergency relocations for a medically vulnerable population during prolonged outages. Committee members offered procedural assistance; no formal township funding decision was taken at the Feb. 18 meeting.
