Commissioners welcomed Courtney Contreras, a new commissioner appointed to represent District 5 by the Board of Supervisors’ Vice Chair Whitesinger. Cody Cooper (county staff) introduced Contreras to the group and noted she will join future meetings online.
Staff also said official signed copies of the commission bylaws have been located and distributed in-person; copies will be sent to online commissioners. Cooper told the commission he did not expect any items to be ready for the November hearing and that staff would issue an official cancellation if that remains the case; he said some items might be ready by December.
Commissioners accepted the update, thanked staff for providing the bylaws and packets, exchanged holiday reminders, and adjourned the meeting.
