La Paz County approves consulting agreement with Policy Development Group; moves to executive session on two vacancies

Separately, the board voted to go into executive session under Arizona Revised Statutes §38‑431.03(A)(3) to consult with legal counsel about statutory authority and the appointment process to fill two vacancies: (1) the Parker Fire District Governing Board and (2) the La Paz County Assessor. The motion to enter executive session was moved and seconded and carried by voice vote. Chair (unnamed) told the public the executive session would likely last about 30 minutes.
The board approved the consulting agreement and then moved into closed session; no actions from the executive session were announced in the public portion of the meeting excerpt.
