A Board of Water Supply representative told the Kaimuki Neighborhood Board the agency has expanded its WaterSense rebate program and increased many rebate amounts to encourage conservation and cost savings.
Lorna Helleron (Board of Water Supply) said the program doubles many rebates and cited examples: a $150 rebate for an Energy Star clothes washer, a $20 rebate for WaterSense toilets, and a $400 rebate for smart water monitors. She said commercial customers may also qualify for higher rebates on plumbing and kitchen equipment. The program aims to help residents save money while using less water. Helleron provided a QR code and a web address (boardofwatersupply.com/rebates) for details and said residents should use those resources for eligibility and application instructions.
No board action was taken; Helleron invited questions and closed the brief announcement.
