Staff said the district’s CET had remained at $1 per square foot for residential construction (and $0.50 for commercial) since initial adoption, and that indexed statewide guidance now places allowable residential rates higher than the district’s current level. After discussion about how the funds may be used — capital work tied to growth such as roofs, portable classrooms and other facilities items — the motion passed.
