Ferguson Township’s Board of Supervisors voted on Nov. 12 to repeal a prior action and adopt a revised tentative agreement with Teamsters Local 764 that includes a $1.94‑per‑hour wage adjustment for a new arborist position.
Township Manager said the revised tentative agreement is identical to the package previously considered except for the wage‑rate change for the arborist. According to the manager, correspondence from the Teamsters’ representative, Ty Sees, indicated the union had ratified the tentative agreement contingent on that wage adjustment. "According to the Teamsters advocate, Ty Sees, it, was already presented that they voted unanimously to ratify the tentative agreement upon this contingent item," the manager said during the public hearing presentation.
Board members asked staff whether the earlier agenda version had an incorrect figure or whether the number had been revised. The manager responded that the agenda packet now reflects a $1.94 per hour increase for the arborist role to align the position with regional comparative wages and that staff would finalize the replacement resolution for execution after the board’s action.
Supervisor Zamari moved to repeal Resolution 2025‑30 and replace it with the revised agreement reflecting the arborest wage change; Ms. Stevens seconded. The manager conducted a roll call and the board adopted the repeal and replacement. The manager announced the resolution passed unanimously.
The meeting record shows a brief exchange in which one participant cited a different figure during discussion; staff clarified the amount that will be incorporated in the final tentative agreement is $1.94 per hour as presented in the updated agenda packet. The manager also said staff will finalize the written resolution and execute the agreement after the meeting.
