The low bid, including alternate items for bridge membrane installation and paving, was $117,487.75.
Staff said the 2024 operating budget had set aside $56,000 for paving Bolesburg Pike and $50,000 for Old Bolesburg Road, and an additional $80,000 for bridge repairs. Bids were opened May 29. The township engineer included a bid tab and memo in the packet recommending award. Board members asked about a mathematical correction to an asphalt line item; staff said all bidders were notified, the low bidder agreed to proceed and the correction did not change the low-bid ranking.
A motion to award the contract to Mid State Paving LLC was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
