The Board of Footboards and Safety set a 30-day status review for the property at 1170 Sibley after updates from building staff indicated progress on required inspections.
Speaker 3 reported that the property owner failed to appear at a previous hearing on Dec. 11 but that building-trade rough inspections for framing, insulation, electrical, plumbing and mechanical had been completed. Speaker 7 said the mechanical reconnect inspection was completed on 02/12/2026, the plumbing final was completed on 01/23/2026, and the electrical final on 02/10/2026; Speaker 7 completed an interior walkthrough the morning of the meeting and said they were awaiting the general contractor’s final inspection for the building permit. On Speaker 4’s motion, seconded by Speaker 2, the board set the next status check for 03/19/2026.
The transcript records no formal penalties or new enforcement actions at the meeting; staff stated they would contact the general contractor to schedule the permit final so the property can be closed out if work is complete. The board requested a status update at the March date and did not otherwise modify the enforcement timeline at the meeting.
