The teams are expected to meet a minimum of 2 to 4 times each month, align to the district's strategic plan (AEVs: academic achievement, vibrant community partnerships, excellence and operations, student-centered culture), and focus on data-driven decision-making.
Administration said next steps include better organizing building data so staff and BLTs can access and interpret multiple data points and then determine interventions. The presenter emphasized collaborative structures, professional development and a commitment to implementation science to support teachers and building leaders.
Board members complimented the work and its emphasis on data and teacher support. The presentation concluded with the administration offering to provide further detail and continue to work with principals and department leaders as implementation proceeds.
