The board discussed using some career‑fund dollars to cover additional costs and suggested occasionally bringing students to the business advisory council meetings to hear directly from employers.
Members characterized the initiative as aligned with district strategic goals — particularly durable workplace skills, academic preparation and digital literacy — and said they will continue to discuss integration of the county program with the district’s existing business advisory council. No formal action or spending authorization was recorded at the meeting.
