Crystal Jacobson, the hearing officer for the Placer County Zoning Administrator and Parcel Review Committee, continued the Arnette variance (PLN25-00352) to the Feb. 19 Zoning Administrator meeting after staff reported a legal-noticing problem for the Tahoe-located request.
Heather Beckman, a senior planner in the Tahoe City office, told the panel there was a defect in the legal notice for the R-net variance and asked for a continuance to the February hearing; Jacobson confirmed the item must be re-noticed and set it for Feb. 19 "anytime after 10:00 a.m." No members of the public in the Auburn hearing room or the Tahoe convenience location provided comment on the continuance request.
The continuation means the county will reissue notice consistent with legal requirements and bring the matter back to the Zoning Administrator on the Feb. 19 docket. Jacobson opened the public hearing only to consider the continuance request and took no substantive action on the underlying variance at this meeting.
